Brihadishvara Temple, Tanjavur, TN
Brihadishvara Temple is a protected monument and it is in Tajnavoor, Tamil Nadu. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Great Living Chola Temples" along with another two temples built by Chola dynasty. One is is in Dharasuram and the other is in Gangaikonda Cholapuram.
It was built between 1003 and 1010 CE by Raja Raja Chola I. It is one of the largest South Indian temple and an exemplary example of a fully realized Tamil architecture .
