God Ganesha
In Hinduism, Ganesha is widely known as the god of wisdom, remover of obstacles, and the lord of beginnings. He is also revered as the patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom.
Ganesha is often worshipped first in any ritual or before embarking on a new venture, as Hindus believe he can remove obstacles and pave the way for success. He is known as the god of new beginnings and is prayed to when starting something new.
Ganesha is also known as Vinayaka, Ganapati, and Pillaiyar, among other names.
He is the son of Shiva and Parvati.
