The Lingaraj Temple, Bhubaneswar
The Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar is one of the oldest and most important Shiva temples in Odisha.
Built in the 11th century, it is a masterpiece of Kalinga architecture with a towering 180-foot deula (sanctum tower). 
The main deity, Lingaraj, is worshipped as Harihara, representing a combined form of Shiva and Vishnu.
The temple complex contains more than 60 shrines, each showcasing intricate stone carvings.
The large Bindu Sagar tank nearby plays a significant role in temple rituals and festivals.
The annual Shivaratri and Rukuna Rath Yatra are celebrated with great devotion, drawing thousands of pilgrims.
