Sri Yoga Rama temple
Located in a small village of Nedungunam (Tiruvannamalai district) 100 plus km from Chennai is a unique and ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Sri Ram. The presiding deity is called Yoga Rama.
Here Rama is in sitting position with his eyes closed and with no weapons in his hands. He is flanked by Lakshmana who has the bow & arrow and Sita Devi.
Sri Hanuman is in front of Sri Rama holding scripture in His hand. The idol of Sri Hanuman is also inside the sanctum sanctorum! In most  temples of Rama, Hanuman  is found outside the sanctum. In some temples there is a separate shrine for him within the temple complex.
This is a big Ramar temple and there is no other Sri Rama temple in Tamil Nadu bigger than this one.
For people who love sculptures this temple is a must visit!
